When you purchase goods on the Budgy Smuggler website you are using Shopify  Payment Gateway and PayPal Secure Internet Payment Systems.

All information received from browsers  is held in a secure format designed to protect it from internal and external access by anyone other than specifically authorised Budgy Smuggler staff.

Budgy Smuggler will not forward to others or sell information that is related or can be used to identify any individuals. If you send us an email we will use your personal information to respond to your request.

We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us.

Examples of the information we collect and analyse in this manner include the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform; your behavior on our website and related services, including the products and merchants you view or searched for, as well as the URL you come from and go to next (whether this URL is on our site or not); cookie number; and participating merchants you visit.

If you sign up for Budgy Smuggler's email we will only ever email you with significant Budgy Smuggler news. We are not that hard working a bunch so don't worry it shouldn't be more than a few emails a month.

We will never pass on your details to anyone else.

Mobile Message Service Terms and Conditions

The Budgy Smuggler UK mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Budgy Smuggler UK, ("we"). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Budgy Smuggler UK's SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages with service-related and promotional messages, including updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.) and promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders) from and on behalf of. Budgy Smuggler UK via text messages through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology.

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Budgy Smuggler UK. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless provider. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Click the unsubscribe link in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Budgy Smuggler UK mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms. We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

FAQ

What is a 'Made to Order' / Preorder product?

A “Made to order” is a product that is made from scratch in Australia when someone purchases it.

A "pre order" pair is in stock in our warehouse in Australia but not in the UK. If someone purchases from the UK store, we will then get it sent over from Australia.

How long will 'Made to Order' pairs take to make?

Good things come to those who wait!

Made to Order pairs take around 4 weeks to be made and processed, and another week for shipping, so you should receive your order within 4-5 weeks at most! We are usually able to deliver before this.

Pre order pairs arrive within 1-2 weeks.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location, shipping method, and other factors beyond our control.

What if I order the wrong size?

Please ensure you get the correct size.

As they are 'Made to Order' we are unable to refund or exchange them . Please read to our sizing chart to help make you correct decision.

It's been over 4 weeks, where is my pair?

No need to worry, if you received a confirmation email from us, your pair will still be on it's way!

Didn't receive a confirmation email? Check your spam/junk folder in case it ended up there.

If you are concerned as to how long your pre order is taking, shoot us an email ukcustom@budgysmuggler.com.au and we can provide an update.

What if I receive the wrong size?

We have had a shocker. Please reach out to ukcustom@budgysmuggler.com.au to let the crew know you have received an incorrect pair, with a photo of the pair. The team will then organise the correct pair to be sent out to you.

Can I exchange pre-order products?

Made to Order pairs are not able to be exchanged, as we only make the quantity of pairs we need to fulfil all the orders.

Therefore, we encourage you to double-check your sizing and design before placing your order to ensure that you're happy with your purchase.

In extenuating circumstances, Pre order items can be exchanged. Please email ukoffice@budgysmuggler.com.au to enquire.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

If your pair hasn't entered production, we can cancel your pre-order and issue you a full refund.

However, if it's already in production, we won't be able to cancel your order.

An analogy we like to use is you can’t un-bake a cake when you’ve paid for it to be made for you.
