One day we saw this image of the Grandfather of France's Most Ordinary Rig ("Monsieur Ordinaire") from Easter 1995. Was it the moustache? Was it the iconic blend of retro nostalgic colours? Whatever it was, we were inspired to re-create this look.

Meet Jean-Pascal, a living legend and the Grandfather of Nicolas in our French office. More than just a fashion icon, Jean-Pascal has been a great supporter of our brand in France, even helping to build the original office with his bare hands.

A bit more about Jean-Pascal.

We asked Nicolas to tell us a bit more about his Grandfather.

Jean-Pascal will be 89 years young this year and lives just outside Bordeaux. His career was in the military; he now enjoys tending to his vegetable garden at his retirement home, watching rugby games, walking and visiting family. Although he would never admit it, his favourite past time is teasing Nicolas' Grandma.

At home he rocks this tracksuit, but when going out he wears smart trousers, a shirt with a little jumper over the top and loafers. His most important accessory remains, of course, his magnificent moustache.
