Epic Women's Rugby World Cup Moments

The Women's RWC is finally here and hosted in our wonderful corner of the world.

At Budgy Smuggler we're huge rugby fans and having met and supported a few of the Red Roses over the years we can confirm they are legends both on and off the pitch.

Here are a few of our favourite moments so far:

1. Record crowd numbers opening the tournament at Sunderland

2. Ellie Kildunne's POTM performance against USA proving why she is the best player int he world right now 😮‍💨

3. Emily Scarratt has now played in five World Cups. The first-ever England rugby player to do so 🌹    4. A phenomenal end-to-end try from the Red Roses   5. Witnessing Abi Burton's incredible journey battling Encephalitis and making it back onto the pitch

And Off The Pitch:

Rugby is about mateship and fun as well belting the other team… and the girls are excelling on all fronts. We love seeing how they are ambassadors for the sport, on and off the pitch. The excitement on the young fans faces says it all, as do the stats with the Women's Rugby World Cup set to break record viewing figures.
